Updates

November 20th, 2009 | Folding Workbench

While this doesn't really qualify to be with my other projects because I didn't build it, this place really needs an update...

It's a pretty handy folding workbench. I'll have a top section as well pretty soon. Perhaps when that is complete I will add some sort of blueprints and update the page.

May 28th, 2009 | S3FL Website

S3FL is a student organization at the University of Michigan that takes on space-related projects. They needed a new website and I volunteered my skills.

I've also added a "summer" style to my website. Check it out here:

May 28th, 2009 | DC Load in the Works

Been working on a DC load the last few weeks. It sinks current, which is adjustable by a set voltage using a PI controller. It uses a BJT in active-mode. I've purchased the parts, including an enclosure and such, to make a nice little instrument with dual inputs. Unfortunately I don't have time to order a PCB before I head to Texas and work for Dell for an internship.

Here's a preview. Datasheet, pcb, schematic. More in-depth details will be posted at the end of the summer.

May 8th, 2009 | Simple Adjustable DC-DC Converter

After purchasing a used lab power supply off eBay, I needed a way to make it more useful and provide more than one output. This cheap, simple, linear dc-dc converter does the trick.

I've purchased an AVRISP MKII, and will be learning some AVR programming in the coming weeks. I've been working on a programmable DC load, for which the analog circuit is complete. Hopefully it will end up on here by the end of the summer.

I made a handy Excel spreadsheet that lets you track how you spend your time, with a pie chart displaying the results.

February 6th, 2009 | New Navigation Links

As you can see above, the navigation links are different. Instead of colored tabs, they now appear to be folder tabs. Right now, the only tab in the foreground is the Updates, but that will change soon.

The website's theme can be slightly changed from this page: http://aquabunker.com/?p=styles

May 20, 2008 | Cardboard PC Project

I've uploaded my first project to the website. This cardboard pc was an experiment to see how small of a box I could fit a computer inside of. It turned out pretty neat, and I intend to create another in the future.

May 20, 2008 | Website up!

Welcome to the aqua bunker! This is where I'll be documenting all my little side projects. To start off, this website was started as I tried to learn to use CSS stylesheets to create a website, as opposed to using the tables that are now obsolete. Hopefully I'll have be valid XHTML soon.
